Last year in 2019, we were excited to rebrand from Roba Family Orchard to Lakeland Orchard & Cidery. Other than our new name and logo, nothing is changing in the way we do business. Lakeland Orchard & Cidery is still owned and operated by the Roba Family.
In the spring of 2012, the first crop of high density, trellised apple trees were planted at the Orchard. When we opened our doors, we had no idea our Family Orchard would grow to what it is today. To date, we’ve grown more than 30 different kinds of apples spread across 20,000 trees. Since opening our gates in 2012, we have quadrupled the size of our Orchard! We’ve even managed to add 4.5 acres of ‘Cut Your Own’ Sunflowers and 3 acres of Zinnias! For the kiddos, we’ve added our fully restored Country Carousel and Cow Train Express. Among other attractions, you can come visit Jenn’s Giant Corn Box, our Pumpkin Bounce and Goat Corral. We even have yard games for children and adults that are guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours. Our newest addition to the Orchard is Live Music and Axe Throwing in the Cider Garden. We cannot wait to serve you our homemade cider and host live music for all to enjoy.
